Due to the impact Covid-19 has had on schools and students,
I am currently offering free virtual visits, up to 20 minutes.
If you are interested in a virtual visit,
please contact me for more information.
Reading and writing stories is my first love.
Talking about stories and how to create them is a close second.
I cater to both large or small groups, depending on the need.
Past organizations I’ve worked with include various SCBWI regional conferences, RWA national conference, Antioch Writers’ Workshop, Surrey International Writers’ Workshop, Emerald City Writers’ Conference, Ohioana, OELMA, Books by the Banks, and ArLA.
Current workshops include The Writers’ Journey in Children’s Fiction, Portable Storyboarding in Four Acts, From Nancy Drew to You, and Pantser Plotting.

I have visited schools and libraries across the country and internationally, and would love to visit yours.
I offer interactive presentations about a variety of topics:
forensics in fiction
the writing process
where authors research
how we revise (and revise and revise)
where we find ideas and inspiration
All presentations include PowerPoint visuals,
Q&A, and brainstorming activities.
I also offer writing workshops for smaller groups.
